NowWow is a painting on cotton canvas consisting of Acrylic paint/ Oil Pastel and Ink Marker. I start with an abstract base of multiple layers of acrylic paint and some layers ofdiamond dust which gives it a feel of luminosity and translucency. I then use a combination of acrylic paint, oil pastel and black ink marker to really make the image jump of the canvas. NowWow is part of a series of paintings of flying cars and motorcycles seemingly floating in space. I was trying to convey that feeling of freedom, weightlessness and exhilaration that one experiences in that moment of time before coming back to earth.
